Yesterday we had some big news come out surrounding the latest Overwatch digital comic, which focuses on Tracer. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last twenty-four hours you probably know the big reveal that emerged from it, but we also won’t spoil it here. The key takeaway is that it’s a great comic showcasing the heroes of Overwatch during the winter holiday, and it both directly tells and indirectly hints at some sweet stories besides. Read the comic on Blizzard’s site or the motion-comic over on Madefire.

A new cinematic has been unleashed upon us, showcasing Winston’s efforts to recall the former agents of Overwatch back to active duty. To get a clearer sense of why Winston is doing this, it might help to watch the Recall short, but I wouldn’t call it necessary. Winston trying to get the band back together is something we’ve known as an aspect of the story for awhile. (It’s the rationale behind the payload escort in Watchpoint:Gibraltar, for example.) Other notable elements: many of the images that showcase the original Overwatch crew include the members we’ve normally seen as part of that team in the past: a younger Jack Morrison (a.k.a. Soldier:76), Reinhardt, Mercy, Gabriel Reyes (a.k.a. Reaper), Torbjorn, McCree, Tracer, and Winston himself. What sticks out, however, are some of the characters we see here who aren’t playable characters. Notably, there’s this omnic present when the IJC is honoring the
The second in a series of Overwatch animated shorts has got a release date of April 3rd, and this time it’ll be hosted on Playstation.com. This time, we’re focusing on Widowmaker on a job in King’s Row. We’ve got a couple more hints about what might be involved here, based on some previous information, including the animated shorts teaser reel we saw at BlizzCon last year. We can probably expect Tracer to show up, and for us to get an answer to the question “do Tracer and Widowmaker have some kind of history?” That specific question, raised by their interaction during the original Overwatch cinematic, was also raised in a Q&A at BlizzCon this year, and either the Metzen or Overwatch story boss Michael Chu hinted that an answer would be forthcoming. No guarantees, of course, except for this: Widowmaker is in King’s Row. Read the full post below.
Been paying attention to all the "new" skins? don't miss out on the legendary recolored ones too!!!
Tracer is always ahead of the curve, from the race course to the punk concert she has just the right skins
Blizzard has added another Gameplay Preview to the list. This time we get to see Tracer in action. For those who don’t remember, Tracer was one of the Overwatch members we were shown in the introductory cinematic at BlizzCon 2014 as she and Winston protected an artifact from Widowmaker and Reaper. Try keeping track of Tracer in this complete, unedited match from an early version of Overwatch, captured in 60fps on PC. Here, Tracer plays on the defensive team in Hanamura, a Point Capture map set in an idyllic corner of Japan. For the best viewing experience, be sure to watch the video in 1080p HD quality.
