Blizzard has released their first animated video in what they are calling their second series of Overwatch animated shorts. This one is showing Bastion and the origin of his little bird he has with him. It has some great flashbacks of the Omnic Crisis and shows why Bastion is indeed the Last Bastion – with a little PTSD and all.
Bastion is a living symbol of the Omnic Crisis. Made for war, he just wants to know peace.
Overwatch visits the Circus with some big ring Skins.
We have so many great skins coming out. We take some time to show off some more additions.
Coming in slightly after the patch started hitting beta servers, we’ve got some notes on what’s going on in this new build. Genji’s health is up, but his shuriken damage is down. Quick Melee doesn’t hit for as much, but we can use it more frequently. Bastion’s Ultimate mode is shorter. Hanzo’s Scatter Arrow doesn’t get to cheat anymore. ;P And Mei is being brought down a bit from the devastating ice goddess heights she started to hit after the last patch. Seriously guys, she went overboard. Overall, these are all pretty standard “beta is beta” changes, principally in the fine-tuning space of things, and having the added bonus of developer insights into why these changes are being made is a huge benefit. Read the full patch notes below.
First up we have the rare skins: We have Epic Skins Lastly we have one Legendary Skin This is only the currently known skins. We can expect more in the future.

Once a frontline combatant in the devastating Omnic Crisis, this curious Bastion unit now explores the world, fascinated by nature but wary of a fearful humanity.
We’re down to the last two heroes (for now) who have yet to receive a gameplay preview and today one more has been added to YouTube. Bastion is a defensive hero with the ability to reconfigure himself depending on his needs at the time. His primary mode (called Configuration: Recon) allows him to become fully mobile, with access to a machine gun to deal damage to his enemies. A secondary mode (Configuration: Sentry) allows him to remain at a single location with a forward-facing shield for protection as he fires a more powerful version of his machine gun which can fire a steady stream of rounds rather than short bursts. Bastion is able to self-repair, but cannot move or fire his weapons while doing so. His final, Ultimate ability (Configuration: Tank), allows him to become a mobile, long-ranged cannon with explosive shells to deal damage in a wide blast radius.
