Blizzard made the out-of-nowhere announcement on Wednesday that players will be able to change hero skins at the beginning of matches, instead of only in the Hero Gallery.
Fashion-forward heroes, rejoice! 👏 👏

The change will be available on both console and PC with the Lunar New Year update. Changing to a different skin can only be done before the game begins, so once players are in the middle of a match they’re out of luck.
With the New Year returning there will be plenty of new skins to collect, so this change is one for the better. Plus I’m getting pretty tired of switching D.Va skins every other day.
