New Support Healer Moira, New Map “Blizzard World,” New Reinhardt Cinematic, from BlizzCon 2017 Opening Ceremony

A new Overwatch map, “Blizzard World,” and a new support healer, Moira, were announced during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2017. Moira is fully playable at the event, and more will be known soon.

The new map, Blizzard World, is a theme park based on all of Blizzard’s franchises. It’s a combination of an assault map and a payload map.

Moira was a member of Blackwatch, features abilities that heal and DPS, and uses her Fade ability to move throughout maps, similar to a Blink ability.

They also showed a new animated short featuring the tragic backstory of Reinhardt when he was a Crusader. It features the conflict of his participation in the war, and a mortal price that was paid.
