You can also find links to preorder Overwatch on all three platforms.

UPDATE: 9AM 3/7/2016: Playstation’s Twitter feed just posted this. Still awaiting confirmation from Blizzard.

ORIGINAL POST:

A big banner ad over on IGN.com may have spilled the release date for Overwatch.

That date is May 24th, but the real kicker is this: apparently, pre-orders will get early access to an open beta that starts on May 3rd, effectively three weeks of additional play before the game’s broad release.

Clicking on the ad went nowhere, which was odd, but it also feels like it may have been a glitch that it was loaded in the first place. Do recall that many of the details on Overwatch’s release that were intended to be announced at last year’s BlizzCon got spoiled by GameStop, so y’know, this wouldn’t really be too surprising.

Everything about this LOOKS legit, but there’s been no official confirmation of this yet, which makes sense since California is still asleep right now. As soon as we hear something, we’ll update you here.
