This map was previously teased on twitter by @playoverwatch. Today we learned more about this maps  unique features.

HOLLYWOOD: This promo movie poster was the first clue of the new mission that is too good to be true.

Map Type:

Hollywood is a payload style mission. you will be escorting Hal-Fred Glitchbot to safety. You will have resistance as he has a price on his head.

Description:

The entrance to Goldshire is the first chokepoint on this map. Watch out for the defense units defending this area. High mobility units like Pharah, Tracer, and Reaper will be able to quickly bypass this deadly area.

The Western set offers tons of overhangs and balconies to set up ambushes. Short to mid range characters will shine in this section. The winding set and indoor areas will limit mobility.

The next area is the Soundstage. In this area they are filming a retro aliens movie. Having a more open feel with catwalks and high windows long range may have an advantage here.

The final checkpoint culminates at the “Tyrael” trailer. Where if you are able to successfully escort Hal-Fred Glitchbot to you will be successful.

No matter what you are looking for, the HOLLYWOOD map delivers it in style.
