Widowmaker is the perfect assassin: a patient, ruthlessly efficient killer who shows neither emotion nor remorse.
It is believed that in her former life, Widowmaker was married to Gérard Lacroix, an Overwatch agent spearheading operations against the Talon terrorist organization. After several unsuccessful attempts to eliminate Gérard, Talon decided to change its focus to his wife, Amélie. Talon operatives kidnapped her and subjected her to an intense program of neural reconditioning. They broke her will, suppressed her personality, and reprogrammed her as a sleeper agent. She was eventually found by Overwatch agents, apparently none the worse for wear, and returned to her normal life.
Two weeks later she killed Gérard in his sleep.
Her mission complete, Amélie returned to Talon, and they completed the process of turning her into a living weapon. She was given extensive training in the covert arts, and then her physiology was altered, drastically slowing her heart, which turned her skin cold and blue and numbed her ability to experience human emotion. Amélie was gone.
Now, Widowmaker is Talon’s most effective assassin, feeling little save the satisfaction of a job well done.

What would an assassin be without a sniper rifle? This weapon is ideal for many situations. One small squeeze for that perfect headshot, hold any longer and you will have a full-auto bloodbath.
Widow’s Kiss
Grappling Hook:
And you though grappling Hooks were only for heroes. Widowmaker puts this tool to devious uses. She can use it to get into the perfect sniping position. If someone happens upon her, she can quickly use it spider away.

Venom Mine:
Damage: 15 dps maximum 75
Range: 3 meters
The Venom Mine is part bug, part portable gas chamber. If you are facing off against Widowmaker you will have to look everywhere for these dirty buggers. These angry bugs will release a cloud of toxin poisoning anyone in proximity when their motion sensors go off. Sorry that rolled up newspaper isn’t going to help you against these deadly bugs.

With her arsenal of long range and sneaky gadgets, you would thinking hiding would be a valid tactic. Sorry to say if this assassin has your number there is no where for you to hide. With the flick of a switch the recon goggles flip into place detailing the heat signature of all enemies. Widowmaker is so generous that she shares this intel with all her comrades.
