Blizzard has released another gameplay preview for their upcoming FPS shooter, Overwatch.

Today’s hero is Widowmaker. Widowmaker is a defensive assassin who uses a sniper rifle to deal ranged attack damage to her opponents. She carries a grappling hook which allows her to quickly scale walls to get an overview of the battleground and can plant Venom Mines to deal poisonous gas damage to enemies that unwittingly wander within their range.

Widowmaker’s Ultimate ability is called Infra-Sight, which allows her to see her opponents heat signatures through walls or other objects for a period of time. This vision is shared with her allies, who can then put the knowledge to good use.

Widowmaker sets her sights on victory in this unedited match from an early version of Overwatch, captured in 60fps on PC. Here, Widowmaker is on the defense in King’s Row, a Point Capture/Payload hybrid map situated in the heart of England.

As with previous videos you’ll want to watch it in 1080p HD for the best viewing experience.

With today’s video release, we’re down to just two more heroes (Zarya and Bastion) we have yet to see previews for, so it will be interesting to see what Blizzard comes up with next to continue building interest in their upcoming game.
